Not to criticize Nya-chan, but:

- the particle "wa", although read like that, is actually written with the "ha" character (は, not わ). Except lazy Internet people, but it's still a mistake.

- Pokemon' names are written in katakana, not hiragana. So not にどらん, but ニドラン.

- the "ball" part of the "Moon Ball" should be written as "bo-ru", instead of "baru".

So it should be "それはニドランだ！" (It's a Nidoran!) and "ムーン　ボール" (Moon Ball).

But the reference was amusing nonetheless. All those poses, sheesh.

@Petty: gotta say, I was laughing pretty hard for the sailor moon bit. the kana was a little off, but I don't care. too funny.

ha is used in place of wa for the subject, and for some reason bo-ru is ball, despite that not making any sense.

@That guy: I’d just add that "ニドランだ！" is all that’s needed (panel 5), and the language of the game is "つかまえる" (capture) rather than "get" (as hilarious as the latter is). That gives "捕まえるよ！" in panel 11.

Further, in panel 23, that should be "アタック". (You are, of course, quite right when you say panel 22 should be "ボール".)

It really is amazing art, and once it’s not marred by slightly off Japanese, it’ll be even more amazing.

I love the Sailor Moon part! Locke looks surprisingly girly, though.
