It's been three years since LOCKE's adventures in Kanto and she's ready to take on Johto! A new rival and old enemies emerge as well as a rumor of a mysterious figure on Mt. Silver referred to as "RED".

THE NUZLOCKE RUN IS COMPLETE IN-GAME. The run goes through Kanto- RED is the final boss of the run.
You said you didn't want your new team to be the same as your old team. However, you're setting the Togepi up as a pretty powerful team member already. Is he planned as the exception to the rule, or are you planning a different direction to take this? (I can think of a few possibilities off the top of my head, as it is.)

I didn't even know Metronome could give you Judgement. I kind of ignore Metronome because I'm doing a Nuzlocke challenge and I'm worried I'll get Selfdestruct or something like that.

Weston must've picked up a Shiny Leaf while petty was level grinding him, which is simply an item a pkmn walking through tall grass can pick up depending on the route and on the pkmn's nature. From what I can tell, it's just decoration in-game even when you collect all five Shiny Leaves and turn them into a Crown.
Colored?
You know, maybe it would be better if you wouldn't put so much effort into one episode by coloring it. LeafGreen was fine in black and white and I suppose it didn't take this much time to make it. Colored comic is certainly prettier, but I could live without colors as long as the updates are more frequent. Anyway, I love the series and it's only a minor complaint.

Are you gonna use the Pokewalker for this Nuzlocke? I always considered it as one region and a nice way to get an extra Pokemon... if you catch it, that is.
@Guest: Given that Togepi learn Metronome at level six, and the wild Pokemon in that area aren't very many levels above that, it's not too big a risk. Petty probably decided to put a few levels on him before moving on and that just happened to be one of the metronomes that came out.

Let me just say I discovered your Leaf Green Nuzlocke comic and am now ravenous for more. I read the whole thing in a couple hours and am now inspired to try the emotional rollercoaster that is Nuzlocke. Great comic, love it.
I got linked to your Leafgreen Nuzlocke today and read through the whole thing in one sitting (cried twice) and I'm so excited to find you're doing another one! Your characterization and storytelling is magnificent and I'll be on the edge of my seat for every new comic!

Has anyone else just givin up completely on this comic I mean the last update was in April if im correct and there petty has not even updated us on when she thinks the comic will even be updated. I would be fine if the comic was in black and white like the old ones if that meant she would get it up faster I mean waiting this long is ridiculous.
Have some understanding, guys :o This is something she does in her free time so work and real life has to be a priority over the comic. I, for one, think that this comic is an absolute jewel and is worth the wait. Keep up the fantastic work :)

@Petty: I know it's been a couple of months since you updated, and I am a new reader (very new; as in I just spent the last 3 hours reading your comic until this point!) but I just wanted to say that I will be looking forward to doing this. I also really am thinking about breaking out my gameboy and doing a Nuzlocke challenge. I'd never heard of it until I happened upon your comic via Rare Candy Treatment. I hope that one day you'll be able to draw more freely. : ) Take as much time as you need!
